COVID-19 Response

Latrobe Veterinary Group has a Covid19 protection policy in place and in doing so we have had to make a lot of changes in the way we operate in both clinics.

cat2 1 - COVID-19 Response

✔️ When you arrive we ask that you phone the clinic from your vehicle (Traralgon 5174 6999, Morwell 5133 8005). Please wait in the car with your pet.

✔️ A staff member will advise you when to bring your pet up to the door. From here a nurse will use a zero human contact approach to collect your pet (please have all dogs on a lead and small pets in a carrier!) and take them in for their consultation.

✔️ The vet will call you (likely both before your appointment and after) to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. They will perform a comprehensive consultation on your pet with a nurse assisting.

✔️ After the consultation payment can be made over the phone or an eftpos machine can be brought outside to you. We would prefer no cash.

✔️ If you are needing to collect medications or products from the clinic we advise you to follow the same process. Payments can be made over the phone at time of organizing for a much smoother process. On arrival a staff member can bring your product/s out to you.

✔️ Where suitable we can organize over the phone consultations and video zoom consultations (please phone the clinic for more information)

✔️ As we are currently operating with limited staff on a daily basis we need to prioritize urgent and emergency cases. This may cause slight delays in attending to our regular consultations and we thankyou for your patience.
