Dr Honnie Waller

Dr Honnie Waller joined Latrobe Veterinary Group in 2015, initially as a locum – but she was so good we convinced her to stay!

After graduating from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga in 2011 Honnie couldn’t wait to begin her Veterinary career – she began work as a mixed practitioner at Drouin Veterinary Clinic, where she stayed until 2014. A few locums followed, one of which was here – she is still here, and we’re very happy about that.

Dr Waller’s areas of interest include herd health (she is partner in a dairy farm) and within the practice, soft tissue surgery. She is a great team player and will turn her hand to anything that needs to be done though.
Honnie’s down to earth approach, great listening & communication skills earn repeated praise from our clients. She is very thorough, takes enormous pride in her work and is a true lateral thinker, acting as an excellent source of information for other vets in the practice on tricky cases. Part of her enjoyment in work is the chance to workshop difficult cases within our veterinary team to formulate a suitable plan.
When not at work she keeps busy helping her cows stay healthy and productive.
